The latest release of WordPress is version 2.8.2.

What is the real difference between using Blogging Software or using Web Page Software?

The first and foremost difference in WordPress Software versus regular Web Page Software is that it is a Content Management System (Software), CMS.

So you might ask what is a Content Management Software?

Defining it–is simply stating that CMS is the management of content in a prescribed system.

All aspect of content interact and interlink in one management software system. This not only is a time saving structured pursuit for operations and digital information execution, it is a great cost savings as well.

Normal web site software does not take into consideration the management of content. Although, some web page software provides quality interaction such as publishing your content directly from the website software to Internet site account.
